If you are lucky enough then you may well be able to catch a glimpse of the dolphins that often swim in the bay…that’s a bit different to the traditional reindeer you get at Christmas!

Bath, what can I say…to me it is one of the ultimate places to visit at Christmas & after the huge success of Bridgerton this year, there is no doubt our properties in Bath will be snapped up sharpish! Ruby Loft & Ruby Retreat are two of our newest recruits & have gone down a storm! Both apartments have been newly refurbished to a very high standard & both are the ultimate luxury escape for your city break or family holiday. Imagine exploring the Enchanted Garden of Light wrapped up in your warmest winter woollies, there is a 100 square metre ice rink which sets one of the ultimate Christmas scenes & there is also a chance to see (& hear) Bath Bach’s choir perform some traditional carols. I for one need to get Bath booked!
The Lighthouse Hide, Walney
Something a little different now…How amazing would it be to wake up over Christmas in a secret lighthouse hideaway! I’m not sure how the landing logistics would work for Rudolph & co but hey ho (ho ho), they always have a way! The Lighthouse Hide is surrounded by wildlife & situated in the heart of the South Walney Nature Reserve. Sleeping two people in one en-suite bedroom it’s an ideal spot for couples to get away and immerse themselves in nature.
Tides, Newquay
Back to Cornwall now & on to the tranquil Tides. This luxury apartment offers breath-taking coastal views & is one of the finest properties you can stay in, in Newquay. Y Lle Hapus, Tenby
Last, but by no means least, we have our Pembrokeshire property. Y Lle Hapus (The Happy Place) can accommodate up to 5 guests & boats the use of a swimming pool & a gym, imagine going for a dip on Christmas day or popping to the gym…I’ll personally give the gym a miss over Christmas 😉 Tenby is one of Wales’ most popular and picturesque holiday destinations so why wouldn’t you want to end 2021 & start 2022 in a very happy place?
The Grove Annexe, Craven Arms
Time to get all cosy in Craven Arms for this Christmas retreat. The Grove Annexe is a perfect base for walkers with both Wenlock Edge and Corvedale Valley close by, along with the picturesque hills around Church Stretton, known as Little Switzerland…best get some extra Lindt chocolates in to get the full Swiss experience. Couples will thoroughly enjoy the secluded hot tub in the large garden (imagine that on Christmas Eve!). Once you’re finished in the hot tub, head indoors to the gas fire in the living room & get ready to settle down for the evening. Throw in a couple of glasses of mulled wine…what more could you want.
Tideway, Malpas
Time for some family time near Truro now at tempting Tideway. The gorgeous bay windows over look the River Truro so you can spend your evenings stargazing from the comfort & warmth of this gorgeous property. The nearby city of Truro is only a 10 minute drive away & has such a stunning cathedral that is a must see! Tideway has everything you need for the whole family including; travel cot & highchair. Sadly, it is already booked for Christmas BUT there is still some availability for New Year so why not snap this up for a wholesome family staycation this New Year.
Court Cottage, West Buckland
Sticking with the South West but heading to Devon for our final property (for now) being featured on our Christmas getaway list is Court Cottage. Another cute cottage with a stunning fireplace nestled away in the rural village of West Buckland. This is the perfect place for escaping the hustle & bustle & really relaxing & recharging. This cottage is perfect if you want to bring your children or your dogs (it is a really pet friendly property). Exmoor National Park is only a stone’s-throw away whilst Devon’s famous beaches are a short hop in the other direction so you can tire the whole family out if you need to burn off any excess Christmas excitement!
